Dr. Rachelle Jackson (Formerly Dr. Altstadt) obtained her undergraduate dual degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Evansville and was an active member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Dr. Jackson specializes in Neuro-Behavioral Optometry, which is an area of optometry that focuses on the functional aspects of vision (ie: eye teaming, eye tracking, eye focusing, visual processing). These visual deficits can cause challenges with reading and balance, and often cause symptoms like double vision, headaches, or eye fatigue.

She went to the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry and graduated in 2016. While in optometry school, she was an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. A was selected as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. Upon graduation, was awarded the COVD Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy.
